TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please carefully read the General Terms and Conditions on this page. They limit our liability and outline the terms and conditions under which your air, cruise or hotel package will operate. Payment of deposit represents an acceptance by the traveler of the terms and conditions as stated here.

Reservation Deposits and Payments: A deposit of $400 per person is required at the time of booking. Full payment is due 90 days prior to the departure. Payment received less than 89 days prior to the departure are subject to additional $100 per person late fee will be added to your invoice.

All reservations are subject to cancellation if payment are not received by the due date. Reservation are subject to current availability and pricing at the time of rebooking. For your convenience, check, money order, Discover Card, Master Card, Visa, and American Express are acceptable forms of payment.

Please Note: Credit cards are not accepted for Travel Agents' discount trips.

Airport Taxes and Fees:
U.S. Customs & Immigration fees, U.S. departure taxes, other governmental fees, air taxes, fuel surcharges and airport facility charges are not included in the price quoted and are up to $498 per person and are applicable when the original reservation is completed. These taxes and fees may vary prior to departure. UWCT reserves the right to correct promotional or pricing errors at any time, or increase the air/cruise/tour price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, cruise fares, currency fluctuations, taxes increase, or fuel surcharges.

Prices:

Prices quoted in this website are in effect at the time of printing and are subject to change without prior notice.

Change/Amendment Fee:

A handling fee of $50 per person will be charged for any alterations or amendments made to a reservation after a written confirmation has been issued.

Cancellations and Refund Policy:

All requests for cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations more than 120 days before departure are subject to a $200 per person administration fee. Cancellations 119-90 days before departure subject to $400 per person of the total price. Cancellations less than 89-60 days before to departure are subject to 50% per person of the total price. Cancellations less than 59-30 days before departure are subject to 70% per person of the total price. For cancellations received less than 30 days before departure, “no show”, there will be no refund. All claims for refund must be received within 30 days of the return date of the tour.

Air Portion:
Once the airline tickets are issued, there will be no refund. After departure, any changes to the flight itinerary may entail additional charges. Since air fares and their conditions are subject to change, other charges may also apply.

Air Transportation:
Air transportation is in Economy Class on the scheduled airlines mentioned in the website, or other scheduled airlines of UWCT choice. Air carrier selection and routing is at solo discretion of UWCT. Passenger names, passport number, date and place of issue, and birth date are now required by many foreign governments as well as the airlines in order to confirm reservations. Names of your airline tickets must match the first and last name listed on the passport.

It is responsibility of the traveler to verify that the name shown on the invoice exactly matches the traveler’s passport name. A revision fee of $100.00 per person will be charged if the name must be changed and are also subject to airline penalties. UWCT is not responsible of denial of boarding by any airline due to the name discrepancy. To give you more options and greater flexibility, UWCT offers customized air reservations. You may select subject to availability, the air carrier, flight times, stoppers and changes of departure or return dates. This service is available for $50 per person, plus any applicable increase air costs. Request must be received in writing.

Airfares included in the price are available at the time of printing and are subject to change without notice. The lowest applicable fare between home town and New York is not included. International and domestic air schedules are subject to change at any time. Unique World Cruises & Travel is not responsible for an airline cancels or delays a flight. If that occurs, you should work with the airline to ensure you arrive at your destination. UWCT is not responsible to notifying passengers of flight schedule changes (flight times and flight numbers) after the air tickets are issued and documents have been sent. We recommend that you contact the airline within 72 hours of departure to reconfirm flights.

Air transportation is subject to the terms and conditions of the airline's ticket contract. UWCT will not provide any refund for portion of trips missed due to cancelled or delayed flights. Stopovers and deviations generally are not permitted. If the stopovers and deviations are permitted there is a service fee, as additional airline charges. Deviations and stopovers are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
A nonrefundable fee may apply to make such request and must be received in writing at least 90 days prior to departure.

Seat Assignment and Special Services:

Request for seat assignments, special meals and special services must be made directly with the airline.

Cruise and Tour Only Passengers:
If you make your own flight arrangements, UWCT cannot be responsible for any inconveniences or cost incurred due to the changes in UWCT and tour start/end dates and/or location.

Airport Transfers:

Arrival and departure transfers will be provided only if the air portion is purchased through UWCT and both arrival and departures are with the group between the airport and the ship or the hotel on the day of arrival and between the ship or the hotel and airport on a day of departure. Portage at the airport is not included in price.
Note:
UWCT is not responsible for any domestic connecting flights booked by any other travel agency, or any non-refundable fares.
Making Your Own Flight Arrangements
If you make your own flight arrangements, you will be responsible for transportation to and from the ship. UWCT will not be responsible for late-arrival due to delayed flights, for missed cruise days, or for extra costs resulting from late flights.

Hotels:
Accommodations will be provided in hotels as listed in each itinerary. UWCT also reserves the right to substitute hotels of a lesser category, in this case, an adjustment in the price will be made based on the differences between the actual net group rate paid by UWCT after completion of the tour.

Extensions/land tours:
A minimum number of participants is required to operate.

Advanced cancelled or delayed sailing:

Unique World Cruises & Travel reserve the right to cancel, advance or postpone any scheduled cruise and may, but is not obligated to, substitute another vessels and shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever to passengers by reason of any such cancellation, advancement or postponement. In the event of cancellation, UWCT only, passenger's sole right of recourse shall be a refund of monies paid to UWCT in connection with such cruise.

Insurance:

Unique World Cruises & Travel has designed a special insurance plan covering, Trip Cancellation/Interruptions, Bankruptcy/Default, Trip Delay/Missed Connection, Accident, Medical Expense, Medical Evacuation , Repatriation, Baggage & Baggage Delay, Itinerary Change and Flight Accident Plan. We strongly suggest to purchase our coverage. Complete travel protection information will be sent with invoice.

Baggage:

Baggage is carried at owner’s risk. UWCT is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to your luggage. Baggage insurance is strongly recommended.

Travel Documents:

Each passenger must have a valid passport. Passport must be valid for six months after the return date of the trip. Visas are required for travel to Brazil, Cambodia, India, Russia and Vietnam. Naturalized and non-U.S. citizens are advised to consult with the appropriate consulate of each country included to determine if any visas are required. All visas must be obtained prior to departure.

UWCT cannot and will not be responsible for any delays or inconvenience caused by the refusal of a foreign consulate to issue visas. In the event of such refusal, all expenses incurred by UWCT, as well as all routine cancellation fees and charges, will be borne by the individual. Final tour documents will be sent 14 days prior to departure.

If you request that documents be sent earlier, there is a $50 handling charge to cover the cost of early processing.

Not Included in Cruise/Tour Price:
U.S. Custom & Immigration fees, departure taxes, fuel surcharges & airport facility charges, domestic airfare, visa, passport fees, excess baggage charges, custom and security charges, items of a personal nature such as laundry, fax, telegraph and telephone expenses, room service, drinks, beverages, optional excursions are not included in the tour as well as other unforeseen personal expenses. Gratuities to tour directors, local guides and bus drivers are not included and are entirely at the participant's discretion.

Omissions:
Unique World Cruises & Travel is not responsible for omissions, printing and/or presentation errors in brochures, on Internet sites or in any other media where such information may be presented, we reserve the right to make corrections as required.

Responsibility:

Unique World Cruises & Travel, 154 Village Road, Manhasset NY 11030 (hereinafter referred to as the Tour Operator) is responsible for making the tours offered in this brochure. The responsibility of the Tour Operator and /or its representatives and/or its agents is limited. The Tour Operator acts only as an agent for the tour participants in all matters connected with the tour transportation, hotel & dining services, sightseeing tours, and other services, including all transportation whether by air, motor coach, rail, car, boat, or by any other means.

The Tour Operator acts only on behalf cruise companies, hotels, airlines, bus companies and/or owners, operators or contractors (all hereinafter called Contractors) providing services in connection with these tours and all tickets, receipts, coupons and vouchers are issued subject to terms and conditions specified by these Contractors. As an agent, the Tour Operator holds itself free of responsibility for any damage, injury or loss resulting from any cause.

By accepting the coupons and tickets, or utilizing the services, tour participants agree that neither the Tour Operator nor its representatives and/or agents shall be liable for any loss, or additional expense, injury, or damage to the tour participants or their belongings or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, or resulting directly or indirectly from any other occurrences beyond the control of the Tour Operator, including breakdown in equipment, strikes, acts of god, fire, acts of quarantines, medical or customs regulations, delays, cancellations or changes in routing or sequence or alternation of sightseeing in itinerary or schedules, etc.


The Tour Operator reserves the right to withdraw and/or cancel a tour or make changes in the itinerary whenever, in its sole judgment, if conditions warrant it, or if such cancellations and/or changes result from circumstances beyond the control of the Tour Operator, or it deems it necessary for the comfort, convenience of safety of the passengers. If the Tour Operator cancels the tour, it shall have no responsibility beyond the refund of all monies paid to the Tour Operator by the tour participant.

The Tour Operator reserves the right to refuse or revoke travel to anyone who is, in the sole judgment of UWCT, incapable of a group travel. If such person is asked to leave while the tour is in progress, that person will be responsible for any additional charges incurred by the departure from the tour or their return to the USA.There will be no further obligation or liability on the part of the Tour Operator. The tour conditions become a binding contract when your enrollment and payment are received and accepted by Unique World Cruises & Travel in Manhasset NY. Venue for any disputes is Nassau County, NY. This shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York.

Tour Route Alterations:
Due to unexpected circumstance, schedule change, equipment failures, delays, charter s of the vessels, tour routes and day-to-day itineraries may be altered without notice. UWCT reserves the right to substitute itineraries, hotels or vessels without notice. In such case we will do everything we can to make sure the locations visited, the excursions taken and the hotels or vessels offered are similar to the ones originally planned. Any such alternations or substitutions of hotels or vessels will not affect the quality of the tour/cruise and will not result in eligibility for a cancellations or refund.
