ITINERARY
Day 1: Depart New York.
Dinner and breakfast are served on board.
Day 2: Kiev.
Arrival and transfer to board the MS Dnieper Star. Welcome Captain's Cocktail.

Day 3: Kiev.
Morning city tour of Kiev, a city with splendid parks, graceful bridges over the Dnieper River, and a multitude of historic buildings and monuments. In the evening optional Ukrainian National Choir performance.
Day 4: Kiev.
After breakfast visit Percherska Lavra, a UNESCO Heritage site, known as the “Monastery of Caves." Founded in the 11th century, the complex contains unique and ancient religious relics. The afternoon is free to explore this beautiful garden city. Stroll along the Kreschatik Street’s picturesque shopping area, where you will find Kiev best shops and restaurants, or you can purchase an optional Open Air Museum. Departure to Kanin at 10:00pm.
Day 5: Kaniv.
Arrival at 9:00am. Founded in 11th century, Kaniv is the oldest city in Ukraine. For years, the city was ruled by Tartars, Lithuanian, Poles, Turks and Russian. Morning walking tour with a visit to the Taras Shevchenko Museum, Ukraine’s poet and painter who worked and lived in this small town. Departure to Kremenchug at 2:00pm.
Day 6: Kremenchug.
Arrival at 8:00am. Morning city walking tour. “Ukraine National Day” celebration with wine testing on board in the afternoon. Departure at 2:00pm.

Day 7: Zaporozhe.
Arrival at 8:00am. City tour in the morning. We'll drive along Lenin Street, see St.Vladimir's Cathedral, Admiral Nakhimov Square and the Lenin Monument. After lunch you can watch an optional Cossack Horse Show, where the Cossacks show-off their trained horses, and demonstrate the skills of handling firearms and swards, as well as play rhythms of national music and folklore. Departure at 4:00pm.
Day 8: Kherson.
Arrive at 8:00am and board a small boat to cruise the narrow canals to Fishermen’s Island. Return to ship for noon sailing to Sevastopol.
Day 9: Sevastopol.
Arrival at 9:00am. Morning city tour. Optional excursion to Bakhchisarai. In the evening visit optional Black Sea Fleet ensemble concert.
Day 10: Sevastopol - Yalta.
Morning excursion to Yalta. We will also visit Alexander Nevsky Cathedral ,Livadia summer residence of the Russian imperial family, where Churchill, Stalin and Roosevelt signed the Yalta Treaty in 1945. A guided tour will take us through the official halls and private apartments of the czars’ family. Arrival back to the ship in time for dinner.
Day 11: Odessa.
Arrival at 2:00pm. Afternoon city tour of Odessa, known as The Pearl of the Black Sea. This cosmopolitan city, with its world famous Opera House and bustling port, has attracted the rich and famous for centuries. Here you will see famed Potemkin Steps, built in 1841, the steps rise 460 feet from the sea to the upper level of Odessa. Free evening or optional visit to an opera or a ballet performance.
Day 12: Odessa.
Free day for shopping, exploring this charming city or you can purchase an optional tour to Belgorod-Dnestrovsky. Captain’s Farewell Dinner in the evening .
Day 13: Odessa/USA.
After breakfast disembark and transfer to the airport for your flight back to New York (JFK airport).
