ITINERARY
Day 1: New York - Cairo.
Overnight transatlantic flight to Cairo. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board.
Day 2: Cairo
Arrival, where you'll be meat by our representative and
transfer to your chosen hotel.
Evening at leisure.
Day 3: Cairo
After breakfast, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and famous Sphinx first than continue to capital of united Egypt, Memphis, where you will see the temple of Path, the statue of Ramses II and Al alabaster Spinx, the most exciting archaeological sites Sakkara, Pyramides of King Zoser, which predate the Pyramids at Giza. Return to the hotel for overnight. Evening at leisure.
Day 4: Egypt
This morning visit to the world-famous Egyptian Museum with its hundred thousands object covering five thousands years of ancient Egyptian civilization. Visit the Old Cairo, St.Serguis Coptic Church where legend says Jesus and the Holy family stayed after fleeing from Jerusalem. Continue to the 9th century Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest in Egypt. The visit Moslem quarter where you will see Salah El Din Citadel, followed by Mosque of Mohammed Ali, and Khan El Khaillil Bazaar. Return to the hotel. Evening at leisure.
Day 5: Cairo - Luxor Nile Cruise.
Early morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Luxor, ancient city of Thebes. Arrival and transfer to the 5 star deluxe MS Sonesta St. George. Visit West Bank Karnak and Luxor Temples, a centuries - old city of pylons, hypostyle halls, colossal statues, shrines and obelisks. Reminder of the day at leisure. In the evening optional Sound & Light Show at Karnak Temple.
Day 6: Luxor - Esna
After breakfast visit West Bank, the Valley of the Kings, beautiful
terraced Temple of the Queen, Hatshepsut Temple at Al Deir El Bahari and Colossi Memnon. Afternoon at leisure. Captain's Welcome Cocktail.
Day 7: Luxor - Edfu - Kom Ombo.
Morning sail to Edfu.Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, the best preserved of all large Egyptian Temples, built of a 180- year period. Return to the boat and continue sailing to Kom Ombo, a hill town overlooking the banks of the Nile. Visit the Greco - Roman Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Gods, the Sun God and Haeroris in Kom Ombo. Overnight in Kom Ombo.
Day 8: Aswan - Nile Cruise.
Morning sail to Aswan, visit Aswan High Dam, the Granite Quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk of Queen atshepsutand the Temple of Philae. In the afternoon sail in a typical Egyptian "Felucca" (sailing boat) passing Elephantine Island, Lord Kitchener's Botanical Garden and dramatic white marble Aga Khan Mausoleum. In the evening optional Light Show at the Philae Temple. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 9: Aswan - Cairo.
Disembark after breakfast. Transfer to the airport for the short flight to Cairo. Upon arrival transfer to your chosen hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore this city rich in history or last minute shopping. Perhaps and optional day trip to Alexandria.
Day 10: Cairo - New York.
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo airport for your flight back to USA or began your optional extension to Jerusalem, Jordan and Dubai.
